Dudes,
Check out these pictures of Reese, the chick off Life. I knew she was hot, but DAMN! Just check it out, trust me. Sarah Shahi is her name, well worth it.

Dude, Brandon, Bad News!!! Look
Did you see the report that just came out about our new all time favorite player, Mr. Utley. Well, as it turns out, there is a report that he will be out until at least June. He needs Hip Surgery, per the report I saw on ESPN.

Wow, where to begin?
So, as the start to the free agent signing period has started in baseball, and since Brandon and I talk about this stuff all the time, and lastly because I haven't said anything about it yet, here is my thoughts on the end of the baseball season.
First, I think the congratulations are in order for not only Franklin Gutierrez but also Grady Sizemore and Cliff Lee. I know I've talked to you Brandon about it, but Guit won the "Fielding Bible Award” given to the best-fielding right fielder in Major League Baseball. Cliff Lee brought the second straight Cy Young Award to the North Shore, and that sure wasn't a shock to anyone. Grady won his second Gold Glove, which he complimented with a Silver Slugger Award this season. Overall, considering the season, not a bad haul for the Tribe in season awards.
Now, that being said, what can be done to help out next year and make it worthwhile to watch the Tribe again. Biggest needs: Closer, Infielder, and a middle/bottom order Starter.
Closer: the 2 names getting kicked around for Cleveland, since there is no way they go get K-Rod, are Hoffman and Wood, from San Diego and the Cubs. I think either would be ok, but I think K Wood would be the better of the two. He's a better pitcher, but he has trouble with getting hurt. Hoff is still a good closer, but he's not the guy from 5 years ago. I think it would be good to have him in the Pen, and working with the younger guys, like J Lewis and Adam Miller, but he's not going to dominate like he did before. Ideally, we would just sign them both, give Wood the longer deal, and use them both. Not likely to happen, but hell, I can dream.
Infielder: Unless somehow Cleveland finds a better deal for Brain Roberts, instead of sending Asdrubal and others for one year of B Rob, He's out. Orlando Hudson is the best 2nd baseman on the market this off season, but I don't know if Indian's Brass wants to give him the big deal he wants. I can't say there is much hope, but I know that Wedge wants to move Jhonny to 3rd, and A Cab to SS. So we need to pick up a 2nd baseman. There has been talk of Mark Grudziofjnrwjicbsd-ick coming over, but I don't know if I like him being our everyday 2 bag.
Starter: There is no way CC comes back, and most of the other "Top Flight" guys will sign elsewhere, so we are looking at a middle of the road guy. We will find a filler guy here, and if not, I'm ok with that. With Lee, Carmona, Laffey, Reyes, and Huff, I think we will have a solid rotation again, and Westbrook should be back in July. So if we don't sign an arm, not going to cry over it. We need the other 2 spots here more than anything else.
I don't have a problem with the rumor of C Blake coming back, but not as an everyday player. They need to just find a way to lose Delluci, and let Blake take that other backup spot. Also, there is a need for Pronk, Vic, and my boy Garko to figure their shit out and find a combo of someone to catch, play 1st, and DH. I don't know if the Tribe are ready to ship Shoppach out, but I think they will. There is some talent in the minors that can come up and back up Vic. But they can't move Kelly unless its a good deal, ie a stud 2nd baseman, and/or a really good arm. The problem I have is that I think Pronk is done, and Vic is going to move to 1st at some point.
So, Brandon, yeah I'm in the same boat as you. I sit at home and cry with no readership, but this shit it hard to keep up with for me. First, we are so far away from the teams we cover, so it puts a hurting on us. I tried to find another writer, but that fell through. oh well, too damn bad. Oh, I too now love "Boo? Fuck You" too. That guy is awesome. I have to do a test for basketball refereeing so I'm out. later yo

BTW
Another rant for you Mike and Chris. So now the Bengals want to put a bounty up for Hines Ward. Supposedly it is up to at least 5 figures for the person that lays him out. Ok I like the idea, stand up for your teammates take out the guy that ended one of your teammates season but come on aren't you a little late for that? This happened on the FIRST drive of the game, you had 4 quarters to get him back. Now aren't you really just like the guy who is standing behind his buddy after you got your ass kicked saying "next time I will get you". I honestly hope Ward lays someone else out on the 20th, does he get the money then? I would laugh my ass off, I like Hines Ward if we had even 2 guys with half his intensity we would have at least a win by now. Now on that note, I hope Rivers next year lays him out and stands over top of him and laughs he is the only one on defense I'd be scared of if I was Ward.
Reds post season report....
No one reads this shit but oh well, Mikey I guess this is pretty much a email to you. We tried to make this blog interesting we wrote good shit but oh well shit happens. I stay up late at night and cry because no one reads this.
On John Fays blog, one that people read for some apparent reason- he is a tard, he asked what 3 moves you would make to improve the Reds and I figured what the hell I will do my own. The Reds are very young and do have talent no matter what those piece of shit worse fans alive think. You can hate EE all you want, the guy makes errors but he also hits. He is 25 years old, really come on guys let's not base careers before the guy is 26. He puts up good numbers and will be a major factor in any future Reds success, no matter how bad you want to bring in a Casey Blake or some other old dude that won't be around for more than 2 years. But hey if someone isn't clutch or can't field at age 26 he is bound to be bad. Hell last year he had 75 runs scored and 27 home runs. He hit .260 and drove in 104 RBI's on top of that the bum had 33 errors! 33 ERRORS?? Get him off the field, wait a damned minute those aren't EE's numbers they are another guys numbers at the age of 26, a guy who is undoubtedly out of the league because 33 errors his ridiculous you can't develop fielding skills. Wait who is it? It's Aramis Ramirez. Since the Age of 36 how many errors does he have? 10, 13, 16, 10, 18 all while driving in 100+ runs a year, 30+homers and hitting near .300. What did EE really do this year? He hit .251(lowest in 3 years by around 20 points), 75 runs, 26 home runs, 68 RBI's with 23 errors. Now am I saying he will be Aramis Ramirez? No there is no guarantee but I know for a fact he is a lot better than 99% of Reds fans give him credit for.
Anyways that came out of nowhere but who cares, Mike. Now the three guys I would pick up are simple. I'm not going to move any positions, no trades just simple free agents.
First of all I would make my number priority to sign Rafeal Furcal. It will cost money but who cares it will fill the SS need and the lead off hole. I don't buy this AGon thing. He is an average SS at best, it is not like we are sitting on Jose Reyes or something. Now I still start Dickerson in CF but I don't like him leading off.
Secondly I would then sign Juan Rivera from the Angels. Rivera was the starting LF going into last year with the Angels coming off a great year hitting .310 with 23homers, 85 RBIs. Then he got hurt and has battled his way back. He would be a very good right handed bat to throw into the line up.
Third and the least of my worries but one I would like is to sign Ivan Rodriguez to catch with Hannigan. We have a lot of Spanish speaking pitchers who are talented as shit. Why not bring in one of the greatest catchers of their generation. He won't hit like he used to but he will still hit the same that Hannigan would have being in there. Plus he is smart with the bat, he is experienced and knows how to win. The Reds need that.
Lineup
1. Furcal SS
2. Rivera LF
3. Votto 1B
4. EE 3B
5. Bruce RF
6. Phillips 2B
7. Rodriguez C
8. Dickerson CF
Bench
Hannigan C
Keppinger IF
Freel Util
Dorn OF
Gonzalez SS/IF
SP
Harang
Volquez
Arroyo
Cueto
Bailey- I think he will be fine guys, he is 22 years old! Give him time!
BP
LR- Owens
MR- Bray, Roenicke, Massett, Herrera
SU- Burton
CP- Cordero
Let Affeldt, Lincoln and Weathers walk. We need to see what these young talents can do sooner or later.
So let me know what you think, and in the great immortal words of Chase "the man" Utley- "Boo? Fuck you!"

My Week 6 Pick'ems
I am not feeling 100% this weekend, so this will be short and to the point.
Chicago (-3.5) vs Atlanta
I have had an anti Turner thing since the second week of the season. They say he should have success off tackle, but I don't see how. Bears and the points easy
At Indy (-2) vs Baltimore
Indy isn't Indy this year, and the Ravens have a great power run game, something Indy can't seem to stop period. I like the Ravens and their stellar D to control thisone
At Minnesota (-10.5) vs Detroit
Pretty simple here, a team that has already given up for the season vs a team that is trying to show it is a good football team. Vikes, but I don't know about those points
At New Orleans (-7.5) vs Oakland
This one is interesting, Saints can't stop the run all that well, and that seems to be the only thing the Raiders can do with any consistencies. Saints, but not with the points
At Jets vs Cincy
Cincy just can't seem to put it together, Favre has been putting things together, rather well too. If Cincy can play like they played last week, they have a shot, just don't think they will play that way, Jets and the points
Carolina(-3) at Tampa
The Panthers have looked real good this year, but why do I think Tampa can pull this one out? I don't know, maybe just a hunch. But I am gonna take Tampa in this one
At Washington (13.5) vs St Louis
Ugly game that should have a mercy rule, Redskins easy
Miami (-2.5) at Houston
Don't look now, but Miami is tearing it up and has beaten both of last years AFC championship contenders. Miami is buying into the new system, glad to see this team on a role, Miami and the points
At Denver (-4) vs Jacksonville
I was going to call for an upset, I just can't. Denver is just too good, and looks like they will continue through the post season. Denver and the points
Dallas (3) at Arizona
Arizona is good, Dallas hasn't look as superior as the media has pumped them up to be. With weaknesses in Dallas' secondary, look for Arizona to try and take advantage. high scoring game, but Dallas wins this one (yea, hommer pick. Even when everything points at an upset)
Philly (-4.5) at San Fran
Philly has got to be steamin mad right now. In the cellar of the NFC East isn't a place they are used to being. Look for Philly to take out their frusturations on the 49'ers. Eagles and the points
Green Bay (-4) at Seattle
God, the Seachickens look pathetic. Green Bay needs this win to get back to their winning ways, and they will. Green Bay and the points
At San Diego (-1.5) vs Pats
Surprisingly, these two teams aren't at the top of their division, yet it still is a game that people should watch. These teams have to be frusturated! Holes are starting to appear in both teams as they try to continue pushing through the season. I like the Pats here even though it's in San Diego.
Giants (-7.5) at Cleveland
Not a very good Monday Nite Game, looked better in the beginning of the season for sure. Giants seem to be demanding respect for winning the Superbowl, and are going to continue to pound on people until they do. Giants and the points in this game

Top 10 Buckeyes I have hated...
I saw a list earlier of something similar to this and thought what the hell.......
1. Steve Bellisari- Affectionately known as Belli-sorry because well he was a HORRIBLE quarterback. He came in highly touted and left mostly drunk and wishing he had stayed at safety.
2. Lydell Ross- He busted on to the season rushing for about his career total in one game against IU and then continued his hard running right into the defenders arms for the rest of his career. This guy was one of the worst RB’s to come through OSU. You know you suck when a NFL team doesn’t even pick you up, hell even Michael Wiley, Pepe Pearson and company could at least get a FA contract or something.
3. Bam Childress- Another example of if you played for a big college someone will take a chance on you. JT moved him from CB to WR when he took over. He went on to catch 33 balls in 5 years but was always expected to be explosive. I think he might have actually invented the catch screen fall to your face move that Ray Small has perfected.
4. Ken-Yon Rambo- Cool name, fast runner but no production so of course he was drafted by the Oakland Raiders and then moved to Dallas.
5. Maurice Hall- He was the second half of the fearsome Hall-Ross combination that many defenses just trembled upon seeing those two together. Hall like Ross was a bum but at least he went on a returned a lot of punts and kicks setting the record for returning yards.
6. Stanley Jackson- This guy was supposed to be the running QB to Germaines dead on accuracy. All it did was allow us to see a crappy player taking snaps when a guy who could have set numerous passing records played part time and still put up crazy numbers.
7. Maurice Clarrett- Do I even need to say anything?
8. Roy Hall- This guy single handedly took OSU out of the BCS NCG. I’m not saying it would have changed the loss to a win but you can’t sit there and say when you lose your biggest play maker on the first play of the game after he returned the kick for a TD doesn’t mess with your head as a team.
I didn’t want to add on current players but these two will be on the list regardless, there was no way around it.
9. Ray Small- One of the prized Glenville products. He was supposed to be just as good as Ginn and faster instead we got a combination of Bam Childress and Ken-Yon Rambo and many catches for no gain.
10. Maurice Wells- There is probably no one that has played for OSU for a while that I dislike more than Mo Wells. This guy should NEVER see the field again. I seriously get excited for the kid if he manages a 3 yard run and every time he does I look to my right and say “Damn Mike that has to be his career long” Am I a dick? Maybe but deep down I honestly feel he just broke his own career mark. Mad props to you. Of course at the same time I can not put the full blame on Mo, somewhere along the lines he had a coach who told him, “Mo to be successful you have to grow your hair really long and run as fast as you can into the back of your lineman, they are like a time warp, you run as fast as you can into their behinds and you come out 20 yard sup field. It is easy son.” Bless the kid he took that to heart and still wonders when he will get to take a ride in his lineman's’ time warp……
